Doris Blakemore

I was in a bike accident where I crashed into another bike, tried to get up after first fall and passed out and fell flat on other side of body. I was in hospital two days with a concussion, ten forehead stitches, broken collarbone, and I can't put pressure on my left leg. I'm home now but I would like prayer for pain mainly in the leg, and also dizziness from the concussion. Also -- Ted is hoping to finally have surgery on his foot this coming Friday. We are told by doctor that this surgery should solve the problem of his diabetic foot ulcer. We are blessed to have a daughter to come help us old folk. Prayer would be appreciated.

Bob and Judy Rogers

from Roy Miller -
Friday was a traumatic day for Bob and Judy. Early in the morning Judy got up and found that Bob could not be found. She looked in the garage and the car was gone. Fortunately, their daughter, Trena, had the app that can show where the car is. Bob was 2 hours away headed toward Tampa.
In his pj's, no identification, and had not eaten, Judy contacted Trena and with the granddaughter, they drove toward Tampa. Judy contacted law enforcement in the Tampa area. An amber alert was activated. The story ends when Bob stopped at a Publix parking lot. Law enforcement helped Trena make the connection. We rejoice that Bob was kept safe and is back home. Judy wants our PRAYER and PRAISE to the Lord for their family as they seek help for Bob's health issues. The Rogers have been so faithful to our Church and Life Group!

Suzette Horton

update 1/12 -- from Dennis
-- The surgery on Thursday went very well, and Suzette is progressing very well and receiving expert care. Thank you so much for your prayers. God intervened in a might way. And by His grace… the cancer is completely gone!
1/5 -- from Kathryn Luker – I am asking for prayer for my surgery this coming Thursday, January 9. Sarcoma, a very rare cancer, began growing a tumor in my right ankle area a few months ago. It is at a very advanced stage. The way to save my life is to lose a portion of that leg that contains the cancer. So… barring any unexpected surprises that’s what will be happening this Thursday. I do not know the exact surgery hour. That is determined at a later time. We will be at Shands Hospital in Gainesville probably for 3-5 days. Please pray for the early recovery period, which I think is pretty hard. The good news is most all who have chosen this route are thriving and have returned to normal activities within six months of surgery. This is very encouraging. I would love to be there for the lesson today, and the love! But I’m being cautious about crowds and potential infections right now. BUT we shall return!!! Please also pray for Dennis throughout this difficult time.
